Thank You Lake Stevens for your support, confidence and for electing me to your City Council in Position 1.

I look forward to working with and for you.

Hello fellow Lake Stevens citizen,

My name is Kim Daughtry; I am running for Lake Stevens City Council - Position #1

Lake Stevens is growing - and that is a good thing. But, with growth comes growing pains. I would like the opportunity to help the city through those pains.

My goal as a council member is to turn the City of Lake Stevens into the home town of choice in Snohomish County. I will accomplish that by:

  • Listening to the citizens
  • Critically thinking about the issues and the facts
  • Maintaining fiduciary responsibility

I will help to improve the quality of life for our citizens while also maintaining their personal liberties. I will be cognizant of where our tax dollars come from and where they go. I will always be mindful of our citizens' rights, our children's well being, and the environment in which we live.

I care enough to have attended all city council meetings for the past two years. I know what the issues are. I will be able to insert myself into the process without the normal learning curve and be productive on day one.

Your city council has a responsibility to ensure that you have a clean and safe place to live, work and play.

I will take that responsibility very seriously.

Thank you for your vote in November!
